Organizations with less experience holding events may start out knowing that they will need a save-the-date card and an invitation, and then realize as they go along that there are lots of other items that need to be designed and produced as well. The better you can anticipate event needs in advance, the more smoothly your event preparations will go, plus you will likely realize cost savings on both the design and printing. Organizations with tons of experience holding events know more about this stuff than I do, so they should go straight to my portfolio and look at work I've done for fundraising events and conferences.
